Snoop Dogg’s smokeless stunt. Cannabis icon and rap legend Snoop Dogg set the internet ablaze last week when he proclaimed he “decided to give up smoke” on Instagram and asked fans to respect his privacy.
Many major publications ran with the story and people began discussing why the noted cannabis connoisseur was making the move, including our own theory that he was launching a cannabis beverage or edible.
It turned out the entire debacle was a PR stunt for a limited-edition metal fire pit from the brand Solo Stove.
Well played, Snoop.
It was also recently publicized that The Doggfather is debuting an exclusive vape line in partnership with Hempacco, a renowned manufacturer of hemp-based consumer goods, and Ispire Technology, a leader in vape technology and precision dosing.

Trulieve is in trouble. A federal report published by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention concluded that work-related occupational asthma was the cause of death for 27-year-old Lorna McMurrey, who died in a Trulieve cannabis cultivation and processing facility last year. This is the first such case in the United States.
Despite reaching a settlement with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) at the beginning of this year on three violations of hazard communication standards, the family has now filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the multi-state operator.
The production plant where the incident took place has since been closed.
